Marvel Studios released the first-ever teaser trailer for its upcoming film “Eternals.”

The film will be the third one in the Phase Four era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“Eternals” will span thousands of years and focus on “a group of immortal heroes forced out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s oldest enemy, The Deviants,” according to a Marvel press release.

The “Eternals” cast includes:

  • Gemma Chan as Sersi.
  • Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo.
  • Lauren Ridloff as Makkari.
  • Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos.
  • Salma Hayek as Ajak.
  • Lia McHugh as Sprite.
  • Don Lee as Gilgamesh.
  • Barry Keoghan as Druig.
  • Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena.
  • Kit Harington plays Dane Whitman.

Who is the ‘Eternals’ director?

The film will be led by director Chloé Zhao, who recently won the award for best director for the film “Nomadland” at the Academy Awards, as I wrote for the Deseret News. She was the first Asian woman and first woman of color to win the award at the Oscars.

When does ‘Eternals’ come out?

“Eternals” drops Nov. 5.
