Last year, BYU was scheduled to play Oregon in the Phil Knight Invitational. But that game ended up being canceled due to the pandemic.

Jon Rothstein of College Hoops Today reported Wednesday that the Cougars and Ducks will meet this year in the Phil Knight Invitational in Portland.

Oregon is projected to be a top-15 team, according to various preseason rankings.

BYU’s nonconference schedule is not yet finalized, but it is expected to be released soon.

The Cougars will host San Diego State on Nov. 12 and visit Utah on Nov. 27. BYU will also play Utah State, Weber State and Utah Valley University.

The Cougars will face Creighton in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on Dec. 11 and they’ll participate in the Diamond Head Classic on Dec. 22-25, starting with a game against South Florida.
