The University of Utah has secured its first running back commitment in the class of 2022.

3-star running back Jaylon Glover, from Lakeland, Fla., announced his pledge to Utah on Friday.

Glover, 5-foot-7, 195 pounds, attends Lake Gibson High School. Over his three-year career in Lake Gibson, he has rushed for 4,023 yards and 54 touchdowns, averaging nearly 130 yards per game.

Glover chose Utah after narrowing his final five schools to Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech and South Carolina.

He is the seventh commit of Utah’s 2022 class.
