It’s thanks to Nacua’s historic start to his NFL career.
His receptions (46) and receiving yards (572) through Week 5 set the record by a rookie through his first five games, and his current total of 50 receptions on the season is tied for the NFL lead, while he’s fourth in receiving yards with 598.
Nacua set a rookie single-game receptions record with 15 catches in a Week 2 game, and he set the record for most receptions by a rookie in his first two games, with 25.
Nacua was also the first rookie in league history to have 10 or more catches and 100-plus receiving yards in his first two career games.
