Every holiday season, the race is on to find gifts that feel warm, thoughtful, and genuinely special. But for Minky Couture, the magic of the holidays isn’t just about what’s under the tree—it’s about how you feel while shopping for it.

That philosophy is at the heart of the 6th Annual White Glove Event on November 7th, both in-store and online. It’s a favorite pre-Black Friday tradition offering early access to special deals and exclusive, limited-edition Christmas prints before the main holiday rush hits.

More than just a sale, the event is built around a personal touch, and its origin story starts right in founder Sandi Hendry’s living room.

A Spark of Inspiration

A few years ago, Sandi was having new furniture delivered to her home. As the delivery team walked in, she noticed something that immediately caught her eye: they were wearing white cotton gloves.

“I was so impressed by their professionalism and incredible attention to detail,” Sandi recalls. “It made me pause and think, How can we bring that exact same feeling of care to our Minky Couture family? White Glove grew directly from that moment and from our deep desire to make every single customer interaction feel extraordinary.”

Roots in Everyday Kindness

For Sandi, treating people with care isn’t a modern business strategy—it’s how she was raised. Growing up in Orem, Utah, she worked at her father’s newspaper, the Orem Geneva Times. Long before she ever designed her first plush blanket, her dad taught her a lesson that shaped her life: treating people well, responding to their needs, and recognizing the value of every single interaction is what matters most.

Sandi carried those lessons through her years as a schoolteacher and into the heart of Minky Couture. Today, that culture of genuine kindness extends to every team member and every customer call.

When you reach out to Minky Couture, you don’t get trapped in an endless automated phone tree. You talk to a real person who cares. At Minky Couture, genuine care for every customer is something we take very seriously.
