Missing the good old days of the Marvel Cinematic Universe? It turns out “Falcon And The Winter Soldier” will bring back some familiar faces during its first season.

What’s going on?

“Falcon And The Winter Soldier” writer Derek Kolstad recently said on the “Script Apart” podcast that familiar faces from the MCU past may pop up in the new show, which is still set to debut on Disney Plus.

  • “What I will say is that there are characters from the earliest Marvel movies that are coming back,” Kolstad said. “We’re layering them in and reinventing them in a way that’s gonna shift the storytelling structure.

What we know:

Characters such as Zemo (Daniel Bruhl) and Batroc (Georges St-Pierre) — who were seen in “Captain America: Civil War” and “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” respectively — have been rumored to return in the new season already.

When does ‘Falcon And The Winter Soldier’ come out?

Falcon And The Winter Soldier” was supposed to debut on Disney Plus in August, despite the coronavirus pandemic delaying shooting of the show. But, the show was not listed on Disney Plus’ upcoming films and TV series for August.

It’s still unclear when “Falcon And The Winter Soldier” will be released. But Disney Plus has reportedly shifted the release date to 2021, according to The Verge.
