“The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” likely won’t arrive on Disney Plus in August, despite reports earlier this year that it was going to hit the streaming service at the end of summer.
What’s happening:
- Disney Plus recently released its new titles for August. “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” was not included in the list.
- Reports from earlier this year suggested “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” would hit the Disney Plus streaming service in August.
- Back in March, reports surfaced that Disney had to stop production of “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” due to the coronavirus pandemic. The show was being filmed in Prague at the time of the pandemic. The Czech Republic had seen 40 confirmed cases of the coronavirus at the point of the shutdown, according to The New York Times.
When will it debut?
- According to ComicBook.com, a release date remains uncertain since the film hasn’t resumed filming yet.
