“The Mandalorian” recently included a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it reference to Rey from the “Star Wars” sequel trilogy.
What’s going on?
The fourth episode of Season 2 — titled “The Siege” — showed Din Djarin/The Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) bring The Child (Baby Yoda) to the planet Nevarro, so they could get repairs done on their ship. While there, The Mandalorian lets The Child hang out in a school.
One of the girls at the school giggles at Baby Yoda. And she has a haircut many will find familiar.

Is this Rey?
It’s almost definitely not Rey — Rey Skywalker — since she appeared to be 19 during the events of the sequel trilogy, which would make her around 4 years old at the time of “The Mandalorian.”
Rey was also stranded on Jakku from a young age. “The girl in the classroom appears to be older than Rey was when she first arrived on the desert planet, which means this girl can’t be Rey before she was taken to Jakku. This Easter egg is more than likely just a fun nod to the character’s iconic hairstyle,” ScreenRant reports.
