Fortnite launched the second season of its second chapter on Thursday, giving fans their first taste of something new since the game rebooted in October 2019.
What’s new?
- The new Fortnite game added a bunch of new character skins.
- The game now has a new faction battle. Gamers can join either the Ghost or Shadow teams, which offer different missions that will change the fate of your gameplay.
- Fortnite added new locations to its season, including the Agency, the Rig, the Yacht, the Grotto and the Shark.
What about challenges?
- Gamers will now choose missions based on the faction they choose.
A full list of challenges
Fortnite revealed the first missions of its new season. Here’s a running list of those challenges, courtesy of Newsweek.
- Land at Lockie’s Lighthouse, Apres Ski and Mount Kay
- Search seven chests at the new locations of the Grotto or the Shark
- Deal 2000 total damage to Henchmen, the nonplayable villains inside the game.
- Open three doors locked by an ID scanner in different matches.
- Stay crouched within 20 meters of the unaware henchmen for 10 seconds.
- Search seven ammo boxes in a single match
- Disguise yourself inside a phone booth in three different matches
- Throw different shield items or healing items three times.
- Eliminate five players while having a total of 100 health and shield or more.
- Damage players using two different weapons within 10 seconds one time.
