At the 2020 Disney “Star Wars” toy showcase in New York City on Thursday, many new Mandalorian- and Baby Yoda-related toys and merchandise were revealed to the public, CNN reports. But the show had one clear star: Hasbro’s animatronic and exceptionally lifelike Baby Yoda.
The adorable — and plush — animatronic toy makes noise, wiggles his ears, practices using the force and even naps. In fact, the new toy has 25 different combinations of sounds and motions, Gizmodo reports.
Perhaps the most exciting thing about the toy is the price tag — only $60 — and that it’s already available for preorder on Amazon, despite not being officially released until Fall 2020, reports Engadget.
CNN reporters released a video from a media preview of the toy.
But Baby Yoda excitement definitely doesn’t stop there. Gizmodo reports that Hasbro is also releasing a less expensive talking toy that comes with a bowl of bone broth and a frog, for snacks. While this Baby Yoda can’t move on his own, he’s still very cute. Hasbro will also be releasing a set of six Baby Yoda figurines for display or gifting.
Not to be outdone, Gizmodo reports Mattel is also releasing its own Baby Yoda plush doll.
