Rita Wilson has asked her fans to text her while she remains under quarantine after being diagnosed with the coronavirus.

What’s happening:

  • Wilson posted a vide on Instagram where she asked fans to text her, saying she would text them back.
  • Wilson said: “Hi guys, it’s me, and I just wanted to tell you something. I am gonna give you my phone number and you can text me and I’m gonna text you back. That way I can let you know what I’m up to and where I’m gonna be and maybe tell you some things that are happening before they happen.”
  • “Feel free to text me to my cellphone number, it is me, I will get it to you and I will get back to you in due time, ‘cause I’m gonna be probably spending a lot of time on text. Anyways, the number to text me at is (310) 299-9260. (310) 299-9260. Text you soon! Bye!”
  • Wilson suggested people text her so that they have someone to talk to during their social distancing, too.

Wilson’s playlist

  • Wilson shared a playlist called “Quarantunes” on Spotify last week, just days after she and her husband were diagnosed with COVID-19, which I wrote about for the Deseret News.
  • She wrote on Twitter: “And the winner for the quarantine playlist naming is QUARANTUNES! Head to @Spotify to listen.”
  • The playlist includes one explicit song — “Locked Up” by Akon.
