Disney has shared a bunch of sunset photos from its famous “Star Wars” park, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
What happened:
- Disney shared five new photos from Batuu, the fictional planet in the “Star Wars” universe where Galaxy’s Edge takes place. It’s located at Disneyland park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando.
- The photos offer a glimpse at the Black Spire Outpost, which is the main location at the park. You can see glimpses of the Millennium Falcon, the X-wing star fighter and an A-wing starfighter.
- The website reads: “Looking out over Black Spire Outpost, you can’t miss the Millennium Falcon in all her ramshackle glory. In the distance, a multi-purpose transport shuttle is docked on top of a large hangar known as Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.”
More from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
- I toured Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in late 2019 as the area launched its new Rise of the Resistance ride, which takes guests through a First Order ship on a wild ride.
- The ride is a full interactive experience.
- “There are still some bugs to work out with the audio and visual elements of the ride. And some guests may forget their color designations when being distributed to different parts of the ride,” according to my report for the Deseret News.
