Google is bringing back some of its popular “Google Doodle” games while many people are stuck at home during the coronavirus pandemic, according to USA Today on Monday.
Google often uses “Doodles” on its main search page to celebrate special events such as holidays or important anniversaries, according to USA Today.
With many more people at home, Google has decided to bring back some of its past interactive Doodles to feature again on their homepage.
“As COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the world, people and families everywhere are spending more time at home,” Google wrote on their Doodles Archive page. “In light of this, we’re launching a throwback Doodle series looking back at some of our popular interactive Google Doodle games!”
The series began on Monday with an interactive game that was first featured on December 4, 2017, according to Newsweek. It was originally created to honor the 50th anniversary of the children’s computer coding language Logo.
There will be 10 other games that Google will include in the series, according to USA Today.
Other games that Google has created in past Doodles include Pac-Man and a Rubik’s Cube, as well a cricket game that will return to the site on Tuesday as part of the new series, according to USA Today.
