Emperor Palpatine may have made his debut at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge this week, as a lightning bolt struck the peak of the theme park at the Walt Disney World resort in Orlando, Florida.

  • The lightning bolt struck one of the mountain peaks of the park, lighting up the entire sky.

Austin Coppock, who posted the original video of the lightning strike to social media, told ABC News that the lightning hit near the Millennium Falcon and the Galaxy’s Edge marketplace.

  • He said his video cut off because the “boom of the thunder shook the ground and I let go of (the record button).”
  • No damage or injuries were reported from the lightning strike.
