When does ‘WandaVision’ take place?
The trailers suggest that “WandaVision” will take place after “Avengers: Endgame” after Tony Stark helped save the universe from Thanos. The series will pick up with Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) alone after the loss of her brother Pietro and Vision (Paul Bettany), who died during the “Infinity War” era.
- “This forces Wanda to create her own perfect reality, presumably with the help of Agatha Harkness who will show her the ropes,” according to Epic Stream.
- This will likely lead to Vision and Wanda getting reunited in a separate timeline, and could even lead to the multiverse becoming more of a thing in the MCU.
Will it be a big deal for the MCU?
Yes. So far, it seems the show will introduce the multiverse. And that concept seems to be a big part of the franchise moving forward. For example, the new “Loki” show takes place in a separate 2012 timeline as was made clear at the end of “Avengers: Endgame.”
All the “WandaVision” trailers hint at the series will be the leading piece of the new fourth phase of the MCU. So if you’re trying to stay caught up, make sure to check it out.
