Actor Ryan Reynolds recently said that he has repeatedly been mistaken for Ben Affleck at a pizzeria in New York City. Reynolds is yet to correct them.

  • In Monday’s episode of the ”Dear Hank & John” podcast, Reynolds said, “there’s a pizza place in the East Village in New York that I’ve been going to for years. They believe I’m Ben Affleck and I’ve never corrected them.”
  • “They’ll ask how J.Lo is, and I go ‘great’ and just get my pizza and go off,” he told podcast hosts John and Hank Green. “When I leave, I think they’re like, ‘I don’t think Ben Affleck is amused by us. I gotta be more chipper. I gotta take care of Ben.’”
  • Now, Reynolds thinks telling the truth won't “go over well,” saying that it’s been years. He also mentioned being confused with Canadian actor Ryan Gosling.

The “Deadpool” star is currently taking a break from acting, after his last successful film “Red Notice,” according to CinemaBlend. And it’s well deserved because Reynolds has been involved in one or two projects every year since 2011.

  • Per the report, this break is going to last a year and a half but the actor’s absence won’t be felt because he’s starring in Netflix’s “The Adam Project” and Apple TV+’s “Spirited,” set to release in 2022.
