Warning: This article contains spoilers for first episode of “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”

“The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” maintained a trend started with the Disney+ series “WandaVision” (at least so far) as “Falcon” did not include a post-credit scene after its first episode.

What happened?

“The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” had a final scene with a major cliffhanger about the future of Captain America and the Captain America shield.

  • Then, “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” transitioned right into the credits. There was no secondary scene during or after the credits.
  • That said — the series will have six episodes. So there’s a chance we could see one down the road as the series heats up.

Why there might be post-credit scenes eventually

“The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” writer Malcolm Spellman recently told Entertainment Weekly the show will lead into future Marvel projects, so it’s a good bet there will be some post-credit scenes.

  • “I can think of three (series) that I’m not allowed to talk about,” Spellman told Entertainment Weekly.

Did ‘WandaVision’ have post-credits scenes?

“WandaVision” kicked off without any post-credits scenes. It wasn’t until the show’s seventh episode that post-credit scenes were added. The eighth episode had a post-credit scene with White Vision, and the series finale had two post-credits scenes that set up new Marvel projects.

“WandVision creator and writer Jac Schaeffer told “Entertainment Tonight” that people should always expect post-credits scenes.

  • “I would say that in any Marvel property, you should watch the thing in its entirety, no matter what. That’s what I would say,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
