- “I didn’t watch the documentary, but from what I did see of it I was embarrassed by the light they put me in,” she wrote on Instagram.
- “I cried for two weeks and well .... I still cry sometimes !!!! I do what I can in my own spirituality with myself to try and keep my own joy ... love ... and happiness.”
Was Britney Spears interviewed for the documentary?
Nope. Samantha Stark, the director of the documentary, told “Entertainment Tonight” that the team tried everything they could to get Spears on the record. But it didn’t work out.
- “There’s a big ethical conflict for me in making a film where the central person in it isn’t participating,” Stark told “Entertainment Tonight.” “It’s really something that I’ve been thinking about this entire time that’s really challenging. I guess I would want to say to her, ‘Call me. I want to hear your side.’”
