Vanessa Bryant, the widow of the late NBA legend Kobe Bryant, celebrated her 39th birthday at Disneyland in California with her daughters, according to People magazine.
Bryant posted several photos to Instagram on her birthday, showing herself eating a breakfast taco on Cinco de Mayo, which is her birthday.
This makes Bryant one of the few people who has been to Disneyland since it reopened on April 30. The park closed because of the novel coronavirus in March 2020 before recently reopening. It is only open to those who live in California.
Vanessa Bryant and Kobe Bryant visited Disneyland together in the past. In fact, a TikTok user who said she worked at Disneyland once described what it was like to see Kobe Bryant at the park, as I wrote for the Deseret News.
- “He was so sweet and his family was so sweet. They were beautiful and I’m really sad that he’s gone,” the employee said in the TikTok video from 2020.
Vanessa Bryant recently celebrated her late daughter, Gianna Bryant, by releasing a new “Mambacita” clothing line. The term “Mambacita” was a play on Kobe Bryant’s nickname, “Black Mamba.”
