The 2025 Golden Globe nominations are here. Leading the 2025 Golden Globe nominations with 10 nods is “Emilia Pérez” — a Spanish-spoken French musical-comedy from Netflix.
Trailing behind in the movie category with seven nominations is “The Brutalist,” the A24 drama starring Adrien Brody and Felicity Jones. And third in line is “Conclave,” with six nods, one of which went to Ralph Fiennes for his performance as a Cardinal-Dean in the Catholic church.
The movie-of-the-moment, “Wicked” earned four nominations, two of which were given to the musical’s leading ladies Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.
“The Bear” and “Only Murders in the Building” lead the way in television for a second consecutive year, though the series’ won’t have to compete with “Succession” again for attention. The new competitor? “Shōgun,” which took home a historic 18 awards at the 2024 Emmys.
Leading with five nominations is “The Bear,” and crawling behind are “Shōgun” and “Only Murders in the Building” each with four noms.

When are the 2025 Golden Globes?
The 82nd annual Golden Globe awards will air live on Sunday, Jan. 5 at 6 p.m. MST on CBS and streaming on Paramount+. The award show will be hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, per People.
“The Golden Globes is not only a huge night for TV and film, but also for comedy,” Glaser said in a statement about hosting, per People. “It’s one of the few times that show business not only allows but encourages itself to be lovingly mocked (at least I hope so).”
“It’s an exciting, yet challenging gig because it’s live, unpredictable and in front of Hollywood’s biggest stars (who also might be getting wasted while seated next to their recent exes).”
When are the 2025 Oscars?
The 97th annual Academy Award ceremony is set for March 2, 2025 at 5 p.m. MST. Nominations for the 2025 Oscars have yet to be announced.
