Fan-favorite shows such as “The Bear” and “The Last of Us” will premiere new seasons in 2025, and there are also plenty of brand new series that will be premiering next year as well.

Here’s a look at 14 TV series that will premiere in 2025, including some new rom-coms, a few political dramas and a twist on “Sherlock Holmes.”

‘The Pitt’

Premiere date: Jan. 9

Starring: Noah Wyle, Katherine LaNasa, Fiona Dourif and others

“‘The Pitt’ is a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh,” per Variety.

Each episode of the series covers one hour of a 15-hour shift where Dr. Robby is working as the chief attendant in the emergency room.

‘Prime Target’

Premiere date: Jan. 22

Network: Apple TV+

Starring: Leo Woodall and Quintessa Swindell

Leo Woodall stars as a Will Hunting-like postgraduate mathematician who is on the verge of a major breakthrough when he discovers someone is trying to stop him.

He teams up with the NSA agent assigned to spy on him and the two work to unravel the conspiracy he’s found himself in the middle of.

‘Watson’

Premiere date: Jan. 26

Network: CBS

Starring: Morris Chestnut, Peter Mark Kendall and Eve Harlow

“Watson” is a modern day twist on the story of Sherlock Holmes. It focuses on Holmes’ sidekick, John Watson, who returns to his medical career after his friend’s death to run a clinic focusing on rare disorders.

Instead of detective tales, “Watson” focuses on solving medical mysteries.

‘Apple Cider Vinegar’

Premiere date: Feb. 6

Network: Netflix

Starring: Kaitlyn Dever, Alycia Debnam-Carey and Ashley Zukerman

This series is inspired by the story of Belle Gibson, “an Australian wellness influencer who falsely claimed to have cured her terminal brain cancer through health and wellness practices,” per Variety.

Despite it all being a scam, Belle was able to build a following and brand using social media, and release a mobile app and a cookbook.

Eventually her life fell apart when it was revealed that she had never been diagnosed with cancer.

‘Zero Day’

Premiere date: Feb. 20

Network: Netflix

Starring: Robert De Niro, Angela Bassett, Jesse Plemons and others

“What would happen if an esteemed former president were put in charge of a federal investigation into a 9/11-esque terrorist attack — but nobody knew that he was suffering symptoms of cognitive decline?” This six-episode drama from Netflix strives to answer that question, according to Vanity Fair.

‘Suits: LA’

Premiere date: Feb. 23

Network: NBC

Rating: TV-14

Starring: Stephen Amell, Lex Scott Davis, Josh McDermitt and Bryan Greenberg

This new spinoff of the original series “Suits” follows a former New York federal prosecutor who moves to L.A. to reinvent his career in law.

He is forced to take on a role he’s despised his whole career as him and his colleagues’ loyalties are tested when their firm is at a crisis point.

‘The Residence’

After a body is found during the State Dinner, detective Cordelia Cupp partners with FBI agent Edwin Park to unravel the murder mystery inside the country’s most iconic mansion.

‘Long Bright River’

This new series is an adaptation of the novel by the same name from author Liz Moore.

‘Chad Powers’

This new series is inspired by a sketch Eli Manning did for his ESPN docuseries, “Eli’s Places,” in which he went undercover at Penn State’s football tryouts under the name “Chad Powers.”

“‘Chad Powers’ tells the story of (Russ) Holliday, a once-promising quarterback whose bad behavior derails his college football career. Eager for a second chance, he disguises himself as Powers and walks onto a floundering football team,” per People.

‘Duster’
