News of the digital release of “Wicked: Part 1″ comes on the heels of headlines about “Wicked: Part 2.”

Earlier this month, it was announced that “Wicked: Part 2” would be titled “Wicked: For Good,” according to Deadline.

The movie title references the musical number “For Good” from the second act of “Wicked,” in which Elphaba and Glinda reflect on how their friendship has changed them and their lives.

“Wicked: For Good” will be released on Nov. 21, 2025.
