Pass the popcorn and find a comfortable spot on the couch. The 98th Academy Awards are coming up, and the race for Hollywood’s coveted statue is officially on.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced its nominees this week, setting the stage for the March 15 ceremony. This year’s best picture roster includes several R-rated titles alongside PG-13 films like “F1: The Movie,” “Hamnet” and “Train Dreams.” Other nominees include “Bugonia,” “Frankenstein,” “Marty Supreme,” “One Battle After Another,” “The Secret Agent,” “Sentimental Value,” and “Sinners,” as previously reported by the Deseret News.

While most categories for the award show are decided by specific branches of the Academy — actors vote for actors, directors for directors — the best picture winner has its own process. It is the only category where all 19 Academy branches vote, according to the Academy.

Here is a guide on where to watch this year’s PG-13 nominees for best picture, along with the best animated feature nominees, before the red carpet is rolled out.
