A mix of movies will be in theaters over the upcoming holiday weekend — which includes both Valentine’s Day and Presidents Day — including both Angel Studio’s first rom-com endeavor, “Solo Mio,” and the animated sports comedy “Goat.”
In addition to new releases, “Pretty in Pink” and the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies will be rereleased in select theaters over the holiday weekend.
Here are movies you can see in theaters over Valentine’s Day and Presidents Day weekend.
‘Solo Mio’
Stranded in Rome, Matt (Kevin James), a jilted groom, decides to embark on his nonrefundable honeymoon in Italy alone.
As Matt begins to heal his broken heart, he meets a lively mix of locals and meddling tourists who transform his lonely getaway into an unexpectedly redemptive journey.

‘Goat’
Will (Caleb McLaughlin), a small but determined goat with dreams of becoming a professional roarball player, gets a once-in-a-lifetime chance to compete alongside the fiercest pros in the world.
His skeptical new teammates doubt his ability to keep up in the intense, full-contact sport, but the underdog player is ready to prove that “smalls can ball.”

‘Time Hoppers: The Silk Road’
In the year 2050, a group of talented students of the elite Aqli Academy discover they can time travel — and find themselves swept onto the legendary Silk Road. To survive, they must protect a group of trailblazing scientists from a conniving, time-bending alchemist.

‘Mercy’
When an AI-controlled justice system convicts a detective (Chris Pratt) of murdering his wife, he must race against the clock to clear his name of a murder he did not commit — facing judgment from an advanced AI judge (Rebecca Ferguson) that will execute him in 90 minutes if he fails.

‘Wuthering Heights’
Inspired by Emily Brontë’s 1847 novel of the same name, “Wuthering Heights” follows the stormy, all-consuming relationship between the fiery Catherine Earnshaw (Margot Robbie) and brooding Heathcliff (Jacob Elordi), revealing the destructive power of a passion driven by obsession and vengeance.

Returning to theaters
‘Pretty in Pink’
In honor of its 40-year anniversary, the classic 1986 rom-com “Pretty in Pink” will make a brief return to theaters over Valentine’s Day weekend.
In the film, Andie (Molly Ringwald) is a high school outcast who spends her time either with her older co-worker (Annie Potts) or her quirky classmate Duckie (Jon Cryer), who secretly has feelings for her. When Blane (Andrew McCarthy), one of the school’s popular boys, asks her out, it feels too good to be true. She soon discovers that dating someone from the popular group might be more trouble than it’s worth.

‘Pirates of the Caribbean’
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” trilogy is returning to theaters for a limited time as part of Megaplex’s $5 Reel Deals program. The movies will be shown over three consecutive weekends, including Valentine’s Day weekend.
A 10-hour mega-marathon showing all three films back-to-back is also available for enthusiastic guests over Valentine’s Day weekend.
