Thirty-one shows will play at Salt Lake City’s Red Butte Garden over the summer — a robust lineup that includes a debut for a prominent Utah band, a jazz legend with nine Grammys, and frequently returning bands that have become fan favorites.
More than half of the 31 shows this upcoming season feature artists who have headlined Red Butte Garden within the past few years — including Bonnie Raitt, Herbie Hancock, Grace Potter and Maren Morris. Artists who have come to regularly perform at the Salt Lake City venue, including Melissa Etheridge and Blues Traveler, are also making a return.
Some of the rarer offerings on the 2026 lineup include: legendary trumpeter Wynton Marsalis, who previously appeared at the venue in 2008; singer-songwriter Ani DiFranco, who appeared on the 2010 concept album “Hadestown” and performed at Red Butte the following year (DiFranco also starred in “Hadestown” on Broadway in 2024); and the rock band Alabama Shakes, who last appeared at the venue in 2015.
Singer-songwriter Ray LaMontagne, who previously performed at Red Butte Garden in 2014, will also make a long-awaited return to the venue this summer. The concert, scheduled for Aug. 23, was postponed from last season.
The upcoming series also marks the debut of a few artists, including Utah’s own folk band The National Parks, country star Wynonna Judd and the rock band Interpol.
