At the end of her Broadway run as Roxie Hart in “Chicago,” Whitney Leavitt announced she will not be returning to “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.”

Leavitt, a 32-year-old mom of three, has appeared in every episode of the first four seasons of the hit reality show. Her departure was announced during her final performance of Chicago on Sunday, per Deadline.

“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” debuted in September 2024, but production was recently paused after a main cast member, Taylor Frankie Paul, was allegedly involved in a domestic violence incident. Charges against Paul have been dropped and Hulu confirmed it will resume filming for Season 5, but there is no confirmation when that will be.

It is unclear whether Leavitt will appear in at least part of Season 5, which has been partially filmed, according to Deadline. Members of the reality show’s cast visited Leavitt earlier this year in New York to see her on Broadway.
