Earlier this week, President Donald Trump told reporters his thoughts on the upcoming documentary about his wife, first lady Melania Trump.

“I’ve seen pieces of it, it’s incredible,” he said. “I think it’s going to do very well — you know, she did a book and the book was a big No. 1 bestseller, and this is a movie, and it seems to be captivating a lot of people’s attention.”

Amazon will release “Melania,” the documentary, exclusively in select theaters in the U.S. and select territories overseas on Jan. 30. The film will also be available for streaming on Amazon Prime.

The first lady is executive producing the film, directed by Brett Ratner, best known for the “Rush Hour” series.

In 2017, Ratner faced accusations of sexual misconduct from six women amid the #MeToo movement, but no criminal charges were filed. This resulted in the fourth “Rush Hour” film being shelved and Ratner losing contracts.

It was announced in November that Ratner now is set to direct “Rush Hour 4,” reportedly at the request of President Trump, as previously reported by Deseret News.

The first lady told Fox News that the movie will chronicle a never-before-told story. “Because the subject matter is historically consequential, it was imperative for me to produce a film of the highest cinematic standard suitable exclusively in theaters worldwide,” she said.

The release of “Melania” is set to come in the days following the Trumps’ 21st wedding anniversary. Last year, their anniversary coincided with President Trump’s inauguration into office.

President Trump married then-fianceé Melania Knauss in Palm Beach, Florida, on Jan. 22, 2005. The wedding took place at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-By-the-Sea and the reception was held in the new Donald Trump Ballroom at Mar-a-Lago, President Trump’s private club.

More than 350 people were invited, with attendees ranging from Bill and Hillary Clinton to Barbara Walters, host of “20/20” and “The View,” and Simon Cowell from “America’s Got Talent.”

At the time, the first lady wore a $100,000 Christian Dior wedding gown with a 13-foot train, a 16-foot veil and hand-sewn crystal beading.
