SALT LAKE CITY — The trade that will send Dante Exum and draft picks from the Utah Jazz to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Jordan Clarkson is official.

The Jazz and Cavaliers announced the trade Tuesday morning after ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski first broke the news of it Monday evening. The two draft picks Cleveland will receive are a 2022 second-round pick via San Antonio and a 2023 second-round pick via Golden State.

Both drafted in 2014 (Exum was the fifth overall pick, Clarkson the 46th), Clarkson has appeared in 196 more career games than Exum after playing collegiately at Missouri. The 6-foot-4, 192-pound Clarkson has averaged 14.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists over the course of his career.
