Donovan Mitchell’s new shoes aren’t the only items of apparel that are getting around this summer.

Spida’s jersey — not to mention a Jazz hat — has also been spotted in some interesting places by some unexpected people.

The celebrity trend began a couple of weeks ago when Los Angeles Rams star running back Todd Gurley wore Mitchell’s No. 45 jersey during an interview. Gurley said he even bought the jersey off Nike’s site and said he and Mitchell had become “recent friends.”

“Good dude, man. Good dude,” Gurley said in his press conference. “I like his game. I just thought I’d support him and wear the jersey.”

Gurley said he’ll get another one for Mitchell to sign.

On Wednesday, New England Patriots defensive lineman Michael Bennett sported a green and gold version of the Jazz jersey in one of his interviews.

As if that weren’t enough love, rapper Talib Kweli was also seen wearing a Utah Jazz City Edition hat on his “People’s Party” podcast last month, as reported by Deseret News Jazz beat writer Eric Woodyard.

Mitchell’s jerseys might be seen even more worldwide if he continues to have performances like he did for Team USA against Japan on Thursday. He ended up with 10 points and six assists and had a stunning plus-51 plus-minus rating in the Americans’ 98-45 win.
