American Fork 3, Weber 0

BYU commit Addie Gardner notched a pair of first-half goals as 6A’s top seed American Fork blanked No. 16 seed Weber for the 6A second round win. Ruby Hladek added a goal in the second half on an assist from Josie Shepherd to go along with her own first-half assist. Abby Bloxham recorded the shutout for the Cavemen.

Corner Canyon 3, Bingham 0

Willow CollinsElise Jeppson and Maryn Granger all found the back of the net in the first half, and then Corner Canyon’s defense did the rest in the second half as the ninth-seeded Chargers pulled away from No. 8 Bingham for the 6A second round win.

Fremont 4, Herriman 3 (2OT)

Peyton Ivins scored the golden goal in the 96th minute as No. 13 seeded Fremont upset No. 4 seed Herriman in double overtime in the 6A second round. Ashlyn Wynn scored the tying goal late in the second half, with Brooklyn Robinson and Brynlee Meyerhoffer scoring the Silverwolves other two goals. Katrina Estrada scored all three goals in the loss for Herriman.

Lone Peak 1, Westlake 1 (2OT)

No. 5 Lone Peak beat No. 13 Westlake in the seventh round of penalty kicks as it eked out the 6A second round win. Lone Peak’s Elle Young and Westlake’s Mattyn Summers scored goals in the first half for their respective teams, but nobody could find the back of the net again until PKs, that Lone Peak won 4-3.

Davis 4, Copper Hills 0

Alizabeth ArevaloGrace NicolParis Stout and Emmerson Taylor all found the back of the net as No. 2 seed Davis pulled away from No. 15 seed Copper Hills with three goals in the second half to advance to the 6A quarterfinals. Taygan Sill recorded the shutout in goal for the Darts.

Syracuse 2, Roy 1 (OT)

Abby Schofield scored on an assist from Caroline Stringfellow 16 seconds into overtime as No. 7 Syracuse held off the upset bid by No. 23 Roy in the 6A second round. Roy’s Monica Garcia sent the game into overtime with a penalty kick with no time left on the clock. Stringfellow scored Syracuse’s earlier second half goal to give the Titans the lead after the scoreless first half.

Layton 3, Northridge 1

Erin Bailey notched a pair of goals in the first half to give the Lancers the 2-0 lead, and after Northridge’s Payton Auger tacked on a penalty kick in the 50th minute Bailey scored again in the 50th for a much-needed insurance goal as Layton knocked off rival Northridge to advance to the 6A quarterfinals.

Pleasant Grove 1, Riverton 0 (OT)

Hailey Warren broke a scoreless tie in the first overtime on an assist from CC Norman as No. 6 seed Pleasant Grove edged No. 11 Riverton for the 6A second round win.
