The 11th-ranked BYU football team is proving true the notion that individual accolades follow team success, as wide receiver Dax Milne was added to the watch list for the Biletnikoff Award, which is given annually to the country’s top receiver.
Milne becomes the second Cougar to be added to the list during the season, as Gunner Romney got on the list two weeks ago.
A junior from Bingham High who went to BYU as a walk-on, Milne totaled 31 catches for 354 yards and two touchdowns combined in his first two seasons but already has 37 receptions for 639 yards and five touchdowns through six games this season, becoming quarterback Zach Wilson’s favorite target.
