Cam Rising’s time as the Utah Utes’ starting quarterback this season will end up lasting just a few series.
On Tuesday morning during his first press availability since the Utes lost 33-17 to the USC Trojans last Saturday in their season opener, Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham said Rising will be out for the season after suffering a shoulder injury.
Cam Rising is done for the season, Kyle Whittingham said. If the ASU game on Sunday isn't played, the Utes will play at Washington Saturday. Utah will be on the road this weekend, regardless of opponent.
