The Utah Utes now know their final opponent of the strange 2020 regular season.

The Pac-12 Conference on Sunday morning announced the matchups for Week 7 of its truncated season, and the Utes will play the Washington State Cougars on Saturday at home, with kickoff set for 11:30 a.m. MST.

The Pac-12 has planned since it created the 2020 schedule (for the last time after the season got delayed) that the final week would be planned just a few days in advance, with intriguing matchups in addition to the conference championship game.

The 15th-ranked USC Trojans and Washington Huskies will play in that contest on Friday night.

The Cougars have played just three games so far this season and are 1-2 under first-year head coach Nick Rolovich. They did not play for three straight weeks from the middle of November to early December because of game cancellations. After losing to USC on Dec. 6, WSU’s game on Saturday against Cal was canceled.

The Cougars’ lone win so far this season came in the Pac-12 season’s first week against Oregon State.

Utah is now 2-2, having won two games in a row, including a 38-21 upset on Saturday over the 21st-ranked Colorado Buffaloes.

Elsewhere in the Pac-12, Stanford will play at UCLA, Oregon and Colorado will play at USC, Arizona State will be at Oregon State and Arizona will be at Cal. The first three games will all be on Saturday, while the date for Arizona-Cal is still to be determined.
