SALT LAKE CITY — Paisley Johnson and Connor Harding are two important pieces of the BYU women’s and men’s basketball teams, respectively, and on Tuesday, they announced via social media that they are engaged.

Johnson, a junior from Everett, Washington, is the leading scorer of the women’s team, averaging 15.2 points and 3.7 rebounds this season. Harding, a sophomore from Pocatello, Idaho, is averaging 6.3 points and 3.3 rebounds off the bench per contest.

Both teams are gearing up for their respective West Coast Conference tournaments, which both begin this week in Las Vegas. The BYU men are the No. 2 seed in their tournament and have a bye until the semifinals next Monday, while the women are the No. 3 seed in their tournament and have a bye until the quarterfinals this Saturday.
