SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah football program got another big commitment for its 2021 class Friday, as 3-star linebacker Trey Reynolds announced his pledge via Twitter.
Excited to announce that I am committed to the University of Utah! Thank you to everyone who has helped me through the process and the incredible Utah staff! @SafetyPride @Colton_Swan @Utah_Football pic.twitter.com/QDstaQKKqk— Trey Reynolds (@TreyReynoldsQC) May 22, 2020
Listed by 247 Sports at 6-foot-2 and 235 pounds, Reynolds attends Queen Creek High School, in Queen Creek, Arizona. The Utes beat out numerous big-time programs for his services, according to 247 Sports, as he holds scholarship offers from over half of the Pac-12 and numerous other Power Five schools around the country.
Reynolds becomes the third prospect to commit to Utah for its 2021 class, and all three have come during the coronavirus pandemic when prospects and coaches are banned by the NCAA from meeting in person.
Snow College defensive tackle Tevita Fotu (the brother of former Ute and recent NFL draftee Leki Fotu) and California quarterback Peter Costelli are the others.
