SALT LAKE CITY — The University of Utah football program has many more commitments so far for its 2021 recruiting class than it has had at this point in the calendar in recent years because of the coronavirus pandemic, and another name has been added to the list.

On Wednesday, Texas wide receiver Deamikkio Nathan announced his pledge to the program via Twitter.

Listed by 247 Sports at 6 feet and 185 pounds, Nathan attends South Grand Prairie High and also holds scholarship offers from BYU, Arizona, Boise State and Bowling Green. Nathan is listed as a three-star prospect by 247 Sports.

He becomes the seventh player to commit to the Utes as part of their 2021 recruiting class.
