For the fourth time since Blake Anderson was named head football coach at Utah State in December, the Aggies have received a commitment from a player who is transferring from a Power Five school.

On Sunday, TCU offensive lineman Quazzel White announced his pledge to the program via Twitter about six weeks after he announced he was entering the portal.

A native of Tacoma, Washington, the 6-foot-3, 317-pound White appeared in 21 games over three seasons for TCU after redshirting in 2017, although just three of those appearances came in 2020.

White was listed as a 3-star prospect by 247 Sports when he was at Lincoln High School. He joins Miami linebacker Patrick Joyner Jr., Texas linebacker Byron Hobbs-Vaughns and Kansas cornerback Kyle Mayberry as players from Power Five schools who have committed to Utah State this offseason.
