In what appeared to be a veiled continuation of his beef with Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell, Shaquille O’Neal made an Instagram post with photos of guards he played with during his career and wrote as part of the caption “This is what greatness at the guard position looks like.”
The lead photo on the post is of O’Neal with Penny Hardaway while they were on the Orlando Magic, followed by two photos with the late Kobe Bryant with the Los Angeles Lakers (one of the photos also had Rick Fox in it?), then Gary Payton with the Miami Heat, Steve Nash with the Phoenix Suns, Dwyane Wade with the Heat, three more with Bryant and the last one with LeBron James on the Cleveland Cavaliers.
“I played with the best ever-to do it,” O’Neal continued in his caption. “You know I know what best look like. #donthavetohate. Y’all kno I got G14 classification to say what I say.”
Mitchell is averaging 24.3 points, exactly five assists and 4.1 rebounds through 16 games this season for the Jazz.
