In the pandemic world, things happen quickly — and unexpectedly.

BYU announced Wednesday afternoon that it will host No. 1 Gonzaga Monday at the Marriott Center. The game will tip off at 9 p.m. MST and will be broadcast on ESPN.

This BYU-Gonzaga matchup was originally scheduled on Feb. 27 as the Cougars’ home, and regular-season, finale.

The Zags defeated BYU on Jan. 7 in Spokane, 86-69, in a game that was scheduled only days in advance due to postponements and COVID-19 issues within West Coast Conference programs.
