For Utah State...With their win over Colorado State in the semifinals on Friday, the Aggies likely gave themselves a bit more comfort as far as making the NCAA Tournament is concerned, although they are still very much on the bubble and could use the automatic bid that would come with a win to make Selection Sunday a celebration instead of a stress.

For San Diego State... The Aztecs will make the Big Dance regardless of what happens Saturday, but they’ve lost the last two MWC championship games to the Aggies and surely want to get on the right side of the matchup.
