Mike Conley can now add Oscar winner to his list of achievements.

Conley and Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets were executive producers on the short film Two Distant Strangers, which won the Academy Award for Best Short Film (Live Action), beating out Feeling Through, The Letter Room, The Present and White Eye.

The film was directed by  Travon Free and Martin Desmond Roe.

Conley and Durant join the late Kobe Bryant as Oscar winners. Bryant won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short for his short film Dear Basketball in 2018.
