“Ila has outstanding, skillful play, steady leadership and relentless work ethic in the midfield. She has been on fire and shows no sign of slowing down. Ila’s vision and control of the game allow her to connect passes and create opportunities for herself and her teammates, while her composure under pressure helps set the tempo of play,” said Ridgeline coach Richard Alexander.
As a junior last season, Webb recorded five goals and nine assists for the Riverhawks.
“She leads by example through her communication, positive energy and willingness to do the hard work on both sides of the ball. Ila’s dedication at training and determination during games make her a key part of our team’s success and a true model of what it means to compete with heart and purpose.”

“One thing I love about Skousen is how mentally tough he is,” said Davis coach Jami Caldwell. “He’s incredibly good at staying relaxed and focused when the pressure is on. Nothing phases him. He sets the bar high on our team and our other athletes all look up to him. He’s so fun to coach and leads by example with his ability to have fun while working hard.”

Baseball
Briggs Wall, Altamont (Sr.)
A force both at the plate and defensively in the outfield, Briggs Wall is playing a big role for Altamont this fall.
He came back from an injury last week to lead the Longhorns to three victories as he hit .444 for the week with a .643 on-base percentage, five runs scored and two RBIs.
He scored the winning run as Altamont beat Wayne 14-13 on Saturday after scoring four runs in the bottom of the seventh.
“Briggs is an amazing young man,” said Altamont coach Chaz Fisher. “It’s been an honor to coach Briggs these past four years. You ask Briggs to run into a wall for the team he’ll jump for the opportunity. He’s stepped up into a great leader for the team. And what a great example to the younger boys. He’s been an animal for us in the outfield and gives us great at bats. We truly love Briggs, aka Bread Truck.”
