The Big 12 outdoor track and field championships start Thursday in Tucson, Arizona, and several BYU and University of Utah athletes will try to take home some hardware.

The championships will run through Saturday and will be streamed on ESPN+.

Here’s a list of who will compete for BYU and Utah and when to watch them.

Thursday, Day 1

  • Noon MDT: BYU sophomore Kaden Passey will be the first Cougar to compete at the Big 12 outdoor track and field championships in the decathlon.
  • 1 p.m. MDT: BYU freshman Tia Brown and senior Zoey Bonds and Utah freshman Glo Hussey will participate in the heptathlon competition.
  • 3:30 p.m. MDT: BYU senior Lia Katoa, juniors Lia Pili and Jayda Lee and sophomore Kat Beachler will participate in the hammer throw.
  • 5:45 p.m. MDT: BYU senior Brinton Paulson and sophomores Carson Riner and Hayden Gribble will compete in the javelin throw.
  • 7:30 p.m. MDT: BYU junior Carter Cutting and senior Caleb Johnson will run the 1,500-meter. Cutting won the NCAA indoor mile title in March.
  • 7:50 p.m. MDT: BYU freshman Jane Hedengren, senior Carlee Hansen-Thompson, senior Carmen Alder, freshman Zariel Macchia, junior Taylor Rohatinsky and senior Jenna Hutchins will race in the 1,500-meter preliminaries. Utah’s Josie Fale, Grace Moroney and Lindsey Peters will also compete.
  • 8:15 p.m. MDT: BYU’s Beachler and junior Alysa Keller will compete in the javelin.
  • 8:30 p.m. MDT: BYU’s Paje Rasmussen and Mikensi Smith will compete in the 200-meter preliminaries. Rasmussen holds the BYU record for the distance. Utah’s Chelsea Amoah, Matejah Mangum, Rachel Bair and Claire Le Gallo will also compete.
  • 8:50 p.m. MDT: BYU senior Logan Hubler and sophomores Garrett Copelin, Jayden Jessee and Treyton Anderson will compete in the 400-meter hurdles preliminaries.
  • 9:10 p.m. MDT: BYU seniors Mayci Taylor and Kali McEuen will race in the 400-meter hurdles preliminaries. Utah’s Maria Alvarado will also compete.
  • 9:30 p.m. MDT: BYU’s Creed Thompson, Davin Thompson, Dalton Mortensen, Tayvon Kitchen and Hunter Kitchen will compete in the 10,000-meter. Creed Thompson finished second in the distance at last year’s Big 12 championship.
  • 10:05 p.m. MDT: BYU sophomore Nelah Roberts and Utah sophomore Annastasia Peters will compete in the 10,000-meter.

Friday, Day 2

  • 5 p.m. MDT: Sophomore Tyler Poole and freshman Mark Bryant will compete in the shot put.
  • 5 p.m. MDT: Senior Ben Barton and Jessee will compete in the long jump.
  • 6:30 p.m. MDT: Barton, Anderson, Jessee and Copelin will compete in the 110-meter hurdles preliminaries.
  • 6:50 p.m. MDT: Bonds and McEuen will compete in the 100-meter hurdles preliminaries. Alvarado will also compete for Utah.
  • 7:10 p.m. MDT: Cutting and Brayden Packard will run in the 800-meter. Cutting has the eighth-fastest time in the event in BYU history in the preliminaries.
  • 7:30 p.m. MDT: Silas Zimmerman and Dallin Thornton will compete in the pole vault.
  • 7:30 p.m. MDT: BYU sophomore Tessa Buswell, senior Krystie Solomon-Jensen, freshman Anne Elise Packard and junior Kylie Olsen will appear in the 800-meter preliminaries. Utah’s Madison Hulsey will also compete.
  • 7:30 p.m. MDT: BYU junior Cailee Faulkner and sophomore Abbie Scott will compete in the pole vault.
  • 7:30 p.m. MDT: Pili, Beachler and Kaiah Fisher will participate in the shot put.
  • 7:30 p.m. MDT: Utah’s Bair will compete in the long jump.
  • 7:50 p.m. MDT: BYU’s Josh Taylor, Jonah Heimuli and Ty Oustrich will compete in the 400-meter preliminaries.
  • 8:10 p.m. MDT: BYU freshman Cambria Hasler and sophomore Marianne Barber will compete in the 400-meter preliminaries.
  • 8:50 p.m. MDT: Rasmussen and Smith will compete in the preliminaries for the 100-meter. Utah’s Bair and Haley Duvall will also compete.
  • 9:10 p.m. MDT: BYU’s James Corrigan, Garrett Stanford, Jefferson McMullin, Jackson Henstrom and Max Davis will participate in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Corrigan set the Big 12 record in the event last year.
  • 9:30 p.m. MDT: BYU’s senior Taylor Lovell, sophomore Karissa Chamberlain, junior Emerald Kehr, junior Raygan Peterson, sophomore Addie Meldrum and freshman River White will race in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Utah’s Sona Kourilova and Mackenzie Rogers will also compete.

Saturday, Day 3

  • 4 p.m. MDT: Gribble, Barton and senior Connor Saunders will compete in the high jump.
  • 4 p.m. MDT: Poole and Bryant will compete in the discus.
  • 6:40 p.m. MDT: Hasler, McEuen, Smith and Rasmussen will run the 4x100-meter relay.
  • 7 p.m. MDT: Fisher will compete in the discus
  • 7:10 p.m. MDT: The finals for the 110-meter hurdles could feature Barton, Anderson, Jessee and Copelin. Nine athletes will advance from the preliminaries to the finals.
  • 7:30 p.m. MDT: The finals for the 400-meter could feature Taylor, Heimuli and  Oustrich. Nine athletes will advance from the preliminaries to the finals.
  • 8:10 p.m. MDT: The finals for the 800-meter could feature Cutting and Packard.
  • 8:30 p.m. MDT: The finals for the 400-meter hurdles could feature Hubler, Copelin, Jessee and Anderson. Nine athletes will advance from the preliminaries to the finals.
  • 9:10 p.m. MDT: Corrigan, Stanford, Mortensen, Johnson, McMullin, Henstrom, Tayvon Kitchen, Isaac Hedengren, Hunter Kitchen, Noah Jenkins, Creed Thompson, Davin Thompson will race in the 5,000-meter finals.
  • 9:30 p.m. MDT: BYU’s Hedengren, Hansen-Thompson, Hutchins, Lovell, Alder and Rohatinsky will run the 5,000-meter final. Hedengren holds the NCAA outdoor record for the distance and won the NCAA indoor title earlier this year. For Utah, Mangum, Marika Couture, Josie Fale, Madison Hulsey, Emily Junginger, Annastasia Peters and Lindsey Peters will also compete.
  • 9:50 p.m. MDT: Heimuli, Oustrich, Taylor and Barton will compete in the first finals heat of the 4x400-meter relay.
  • 10:05 p.m. MDT: Barber, McEuen, Rasmussen and Taylor will run in the finals for the 4x400-meter relay. The Utah women will also compete.
