The greatest event in golf is just 308 days away.
The 2027 Masters tournament will begin on April 5 at Georgia’s Augusta National Golf Club, where the world’s top golfers will compete for the coveted green jacket — and two-time defending champion Rory McIlroy will attempt become the first man in history to win three straight tournament titles.
Considering the prestige of the event, the Masters is arguably the toughest ticket to get in all of sports. However, anyone with enough luck can end up in attendance at Augusta.
The Masters features a ticket lottery each year, allowing fans to apply for the opportunity to win tickets for both the practice and tournament rounds.
How to enter the Masters ticket lottery
Fans hoping to attend the Masters will need to create a free account on the event’s website.
For Monday and Tuesday’s practice rounds, along with the Par 3 contest on Wednesday, fans can apply for up to four tickets. The practice rounds will cost $125 each, while Wednesday’s Par 3 contest is priced at $150 per ticket.
For the four tournament rounds between Thursday and Sunday, fans can apply for up to two tickets, each costing $160 apiece.
Fans may apply for as many days as they’d like, but if they are chosen in the lottery, they can only choose one day to attend.
The lottery will be open through June 20, with all applicants scheduled to be notified of their ticketing fate in late July upon the conclusion of the random ticketing process.
As is customary at the Masters, only tickets purchased through the event itself will be honored for admission. Third-party ticket acquisition is prohibited.
