Former Utah men’s basketball guard Delon Wright, football offensive lineman Zane Beadles, men’s basketball coach Jerry Pimm, gymnast Daria Bijak, women’s skier Katrin Smigun and the 1991 softball team will be inducted into the Utah Athletics Hall of Fame in 2026.
Wright starred at Utah from 2013-15 and helped turn Utah’s basketball program around, leading the Utes to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2009 during his senior season.
Wright averaged 14.5 points, 5.1 assists and 4.9 rebounds in Utah’s 2014-15 season, earning second-team All-America honors and winning the 2015 Bob Cousy Award, given to the nation’s top point guard.
In 2014-15, the Utes returned to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2005.
Wright was selected No. 20 by the Toronto Raptors in the 2015 NBA draft and carved out a 10-year NBA career, averaging 6.7 points, three rebounds and three assists.
Beadles spent four seasons at Utah as a mainstay on the offensive line, including starting at left tackle for the 2008 Utes, who completed a perfect 13-0 season with a victory over Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. Utah finished that season ranked No. 2 in the final Associated Press poll.
Beadles earned first-team All-American honors in his senior season, 2009, and was selected by the Denver Broncos in the 2010 NFL draft.
Over nine years in the NFL, Beadles was named to one Pro Bowl and started every game for six consecutive seasons from 2011-16.

Pimm led the Runnin’ Utes from 1974-83, coaching Utah to a 173-86 record.
Under Pimm, the Utes made five NCAA Tournaments and four Sweet 16s. He coached Tom Chambers, Danny Vranes, Jeff Judkins and Pace Mannion and won three WAC championships.
Bijak, who competed for the Red Rocks from 2007-10, was an eight-time All-American while at Utah and also competed for Germany in the 2008 Olympics.
With Bijak leading the way, Utah made the Super Six all four years, including second-place finishes in 2007 and 2008.
Smigun was a two-time All-American while at Utah in 2003 and was named the 2003 Ski Magazine Ski Racer of the Year. Prior to Utah, she competed in the 1998 Winter Olympics and the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics before leading the Utes to the 2003 national championship.
Smigun won both the classical and freestyle races at the 2003 NCAA championships and went undefeated throughout the 2003 season.
The 1991 Utah softball team won both the WAC regular season and tournament titles and beat Texas A&M in the regional title to punch its ticket to the Women’s College World Series. At the time, it was just the second-ever appearance for the Utes.
To win the WAC tournament championship, Utah and Creighton played an astonishing 56 innings over two games. Creighton prevailed in a 31-inning, 1-0 Game 1 victory — the longest game in NCAA softball history — before Utah sealed the championship with a 4-3 win over 25 innings.
Charmelle Green, now Utah’s deputy athletics director, was the star of that team, receiving WAC Player of the Year and second-team All-American honors.
The inductees will be inducted on Sept. 18 and honored at halftime of Utah’s football game against Utah State on Sept. 19.
