The Utah State Aggies men’s basketball program got a huge win on the recruiting trail Thursday from one of the top prospects in the Beehive State.

Lone Peak small forward Crew Fotheringham committed to the Aggies over larger programs Utah, USC, UCLA and Arizona State.

Listed at 6-foot-8 and 180 pounds, Fotheringham is considered by some outlets to be one of the top 100 prospects in the entire country in the Class of 2027.

Last season as a junior for Lone Peak, Fotheringham averaged 17.2 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.

Utah State, which will be in its first season in the new-look Pac-12 Conference beginning in November, has been hot on the recruiting trail under first-year head coach Ben Jacobson.

The Aggies have a strong nucleus for this season and are in the mix for 2027 top 100 national prospect King Rachal out of California and have already gotten a commitment from guard Will Powers out of Missouri.
