Utah is moving up in the national rankings, while BYU takes a step back.
The Utes moved up two spots to No. 13 in Sunday’s latest AP top 25 poll following their 31-17 win at Iowa State.
The Cougars, who sat idle with a bye, took a one-spot setback to now sit at No. 10.
BYU still stands as the highest-ranked Big 12 team, with Texas Tech (No. 12), Oklahoma State (No. 19) and Houston (No. 20) also representing the conference in the poll. Additionally, Cincinnati and Arizona appeared in the receiving votes section.
Notre Dame, BYU’s Oct. 17 opponent in Provo, remains at No. 3 in the rankings.
