After founding and selling Japan’s largest fashion company, Zozotown, billionaire Yusaku Maezawa is looking to settle down ... in space, The New York Times reports

Earlier this month, Maezawa tweeted that he was offering an opportunity for one lucky woman to be the first woman on the moon. The catch? Well, there’s quite a few.

First, 44-year-old Maezawa isn’t just traveling to the moon for science or out of curiosity. He is looking for a life partner.

The casting call lists the qualities of Maezawa’s ideal partner. She must “be someone who wishes for world peace,” be interested in going into space, have a bright and positive personality and be a single woman over the age of 20.

He said he will film the entire process for a Abema TV reality documentary called, “Full Moon Lovers.”

The casting selection will begin Jan. 25.

After reviewing what CBS reports as nearly 30,000 applications, the best candidates will be selected for preliminary “matchmaking dates” with Maezawa in February and “special dates getting to know Yusaka Maezawa” in March.

The final cast will be decided before April.

Maezawa and his new partner won’t be the only ones heading for the moon. In a project called “#dearMoon” Maezawa announced he will also be bringing artists with him on his 2023 moon voyage to represent the best of Earth. He’s already talked to Ringo Starr about it.

Starr told him to “save two seats for me.”
