Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong have seen fresh waves of the coronavirus despite successfully calming the disease’s spread, according to The Wall Street Journal.

  • Singapore saw 23 new cases on Tuesday, which is the highest amount in the country since the epidemic started.
  • Taiwan saw 10 new cases of infection, which is a single-day high. The country now has 77 total cases. The country saw eight new cases Monday, too, according to The Straits Times.
  • Hong Kong added five new cases just one day after adding nine more. That’s the most the country has seen since Feb. 9.

What about China?

  • The coronavirus first began to spread in Wuhan, China, before landing in other countries. In China, life has slowly begun to return to normal, according to Al Jazeera. For example, the city of Chongqing had more than 500 confirmed cases during the duration of the disease. Now, the city hasn’t seen cases for a few days.
  • In fact, 13 of 34 provinces with China have cleared their cases from hospitals. And about 69,000 of 81,000 confirmed cases have been discharged from hospitals, according to Al Jazeera.
