There’s good news for Diet Coke lovers, as rumors are circling around the internet that after 11 years of serving Pepsi products in its food courts, Costco will soon switch to Coca-Cola.

Costco hasn’t yet made an official announcement but chatter on social media has multiple sources saying the change is imminent.

The Instagram account Costco Insider posted that the company is planning on making the change, saying “After over a decade, Costco is switching back from Pepsi to Coke products in their stores. The change will bring Coke, Coke Zero, and Diet Coke, as well as Sprite instead of Starry.”

According to Fox News, Costco Insider got the information from “multiple sources.”

Costco Insider isn’t the only one sharing news. Multiple accounts across platforms such as X and Reddit have also posted about the rumor.

A user on Reddit, who was one of the first to share the rumor, posted last week “Good news for my fellow Costco-going (diet) coke enjoyers. My well-placed source said ‘early 2025′”

Costco hasn’t always had Pepsi in its food courts though.

According to Fox News, the company made the switch from Coca-Cola to Pepsi products in 2013 “as a cost-saving measure.”

Costco food courts have their own unique personality, from inexpensive hot dogs and pizza, to the famous churros that no longer are served.
